Release Notes: v2.0.1.44

Release Notes: v2.0.1.44

We've made the Registration Screen easier!

To now define the Instructor / Coach, just select them from the drop-down!

Primary Contacts

With kids, it's better to define a Mother and Father so you can store contact information for them both, and also be able to greet them by name. So with this in mind, we've done away with the Primary Contact being a Relationship, and have now got a check box to indicate the Primary on each account.

Bug with Gradings

We were made aware of a small bug in the Gradings by two of our subscribers. This should now be fixed.

Release Notes: v2.0.1.43

Release Notes: v2.0.1.43

With the rush to get the Contacts Grouping by Class Programme out yesterday, it seems there was a little bug that affected the Timetable Maintenance.

This has now been resolved with version .43.

Apologies for the two releases in two days and thank you to the subscriber who brought it to our attention this morning!

BUT ... There is also an advantage of this urgent release!

We've worked overnight to add two more functions to the Contact Programme Grouping!

You can now Email all the members of the programme ...

And

On the same screen you can enroll them into any class!

It should be self-explanatory, but if not, please don't hesitate to ask for assistance!

Release Notes: v2.0.1.42

Release Notes: v2.0.1.42

Well, this is a BIG RELEASE!

One thing that we try to be at Stingrae, that sets us apart from others in the industry, is that we strive to be your IT Department. As those of you who have worked in a large company will know, that if you want a new report, or feature added to your department's computer system to make your work easier, then you request it to the IT Department, and they build it for you.

And that's what we're aiming to do. If you want something added to Arnold, then please ask!

That's how this feature came about.

Two schools using Arnold both wanted an easy way to put students into "Programmes". I.e., when people sign up, they're grouped into programmes such as Tigers, or Dragons etc. ... Then the manager needed to print out this list and mark off the names as the participants (normally kids) arrive for class.

Finally, after the class, the manager can go back to the desk where Arnold is (either at the dojo or at home), and enter the enrollments into a class.

That's now in this release!

Look for the new Programmes button on the main menu!

This has obviously just been developed. We're going to add more buttons down the bottom of this screen too, so you can email them directly from here and also register them into classes. But we wanted to get it out there asap and get feedback.

It should be fairly simple to figure out, but if not, please don't hesitate to ask.

And also, as a result of this change, you'll notice that we've slightly re-organised the main menu too. Going from 8 main options to 9 means that it looked nicer to have 3 rows of 3, than to have the new button out on it's own. It'll probably confuse you for a day or two, but we're sure you'll be ok pretty quick!

If you have any more suggestions, please keep them coming!

Release Notes: v2.0.1.41

Release Notes: v2.0.1.41

Our development team have been very busy over the past few days, and we have two great enhancements to announce!

Firstly a birthday report! Yes, you can now easily query your database and find all members with birthdays today, this week or this month! Simply go to the Member Menu or the Reports Menu and a new form will appear!

And secondly, we've improved our class Sign In Sheet. You can now print it out before the class, mark off those who have attended and then after the class mark if they attended or not. This is still a work in progress but we wanted to get out what we've done now, and let you use it! Simply go to the Class Bookings Screen to use!

ps. Our lawyers were worried about us using the image of a certain famous guy called "Arnold" and so we've changed the logo to our Stingrae Databases logo. Apologies if this causes any confusion, but we have to do what our lawyers say!
